Mirabelle tart

For 6 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet shortcrust pastry
  • 750 g. destoned mirabelles
  • 50 g. butter
  • 100 g. caster sugar
  • 1 egg

To prepare:

  • Mirabelle tartPlace the shortcrust pastry into a greased tin and prick the base
  • Arrange the mirabelles over the pastry
  • Melt the butter and the sugar over a low heat
  • Remove from the heat and incorporate the beaten egg
  • Pour the mixture over the Mirabelles
  • Cook in the oven at 170°C (gas mark 5/6) for 35 to 45 minutes
