Stop-overs and city breaks

Mirabelles flambéed in caramel

To prepare

  • Make a caramel using the cooking juice from the mirabelles and some sugar
  • Add a knob of butter
  • When the caramel starts to colour, add the destoned mirabelles
  • Coat with the syrup and spoon over vanilla ice cream
  • Serve immediately flambéed in a good quality mirabelle liqueur
