Mirabelle crumble

For 4 people

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 500 g. mirabelles from Metz
  • 50 g. caster sugar
  • 50 g. butter
  • 50 g. flour
  • 50 g. ground almonds

To prepare:

  • Place the sugar, ground almonds and flour into a mixing bowl
  • Mix together then add the butter cut into small cubes
  • Mix quickly with the fingertips until the mixture forms tiny balls
  • Wash and dry the mirabelles, halve them and remove the stones
  • Divide the mirabelles into 4 small individual dishes
  • Sprinkle the flour mixture over the fruit
  • Place into a pre-heated oven at 210°C (gas mark 7) and cook for 15 minutes
  • Serve hot or just warm
